Quaint Comfort

Built in the late 1800s the Old Quaker Meeting House (now known simply as the Meeting House) served as a popular religious gathering spot in the center of town. Today, the Meeting House is home to a unique collection of restaurants and shops on the street level with guest rooms above. Its shops include the island’s freshest organic eatery and juice bar, Lemon Press, as well as Centre Street Bistro, the restaurant the locals hope you don’t find out about, which offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner including sidewalk dining in season.

The accommodations of the Meeting House are perfect for value-oriented guests who still get to enjoy our most popular amenity—the location in the heart of downtown.
